A Glorious New Year

January 1st, 2009 · No Comments

There is nothing like a brand new year to start afresh. Well, that is what the world asks us to do every January 1st. Compare this with our heavenly Father who allows us to visit and seek guidance from Him every day.

Well, after a rocky end to 2006 and a re-focus in 2008, I’m off to a good start in 2009. I have dedicated 2009 to the writing of my book entitled Zero Tolerance. I have thought deep and hard about what this book should cover throughout all of 2008 and what it shouldn’t. But as it seems God will still be giving me the content as I go. He has laid out a plan for me to focus on Psalm 31 and relate it to my travels this last year. I am committing 2 weeks for every verse which should take me to the end of 2009 and be ready to publish in the first month or two of 2010.

This morning was mostly an exercise in organization, getting some chapter content in order, and starting to pull in some of the many notes I’ve taken over the last year. I’m excited to actually be starting the book and I hope you visit this site often as I intend to make a few notes/ramblings every day.

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. Psalm 31:24

Psalm 31 has given me such comfort in the last year that I have decided to not only write a book but also record the courage and strength God’s word has provided in this blog. Please have patience as I ramp up this coming year (2009). You can also follow various thoughts and ramblings by following me on Twitter (www.twitter.com/psalmthirtyone). Please say hi when you get a chance.
